Is this legitimate?

Yes. These sites are run by Tandem Cyber, a cybersecurity firm, on behalf of participating colleges for Cybersecurity Awareness Month, October 2026. The only sites in this campaign are escape.tandemcyber.co, scamfeed.tandemcyber.co, coin.tandemcyber.co and cio.tandemcyber.co.

We ask for your school email so your college can see how many of its students and staff took part. It is stored as a keyed hash, never shared with anyone outside your college's IT leadership as a count, and never sold. Read the privacy summary.

If your campus link brought you here, the page will name your college and its IT help desk once setup completes. We never list participating colleges here.
